Merging

PDF merger combines two or more files into one. Files are numbered in the order you pick them, and the order box takes 2,1 to swap them or 1:1-3,2 to take only some pages from a file, so you can interleave pages from several documents in one pass. Pages are copied without re-encoding.

Counting

The page counter reports the page count, page sizes and file size of one or many PDFs at once — drop a folder of documents and get a total, which is what you need for a print quote or a page-limited submission. It reads only the document structure, so it is instant even on large files.

Rotating

PDF rotator shows thumbnails of every page and lets you rotate individual pages or the whole document by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, then saves a new file with the rotation stored properly in the page metadata so it opens the right way up everywhere. It is the fix for the scan where one page went through the feeder upside down.

Splitting

PDF splitter divides a document by page ranges you type — 1-3, 7, 10-12 — or into every page as a separate file, or into equal chunks. Each part is a complete, valid PDF. The tool is for extracting a chapter, sending one page of a contract, or breaking a file that is too big to email into pieces.

Extracting and deleting

PDF page extractor saves individual pages — 3,11 — as a new file in the order you list them, and PDF page deleter does the opposite, removing the pages you name and keeping the rest in their original order. Both write a fresh document containing only the kept pages, so nothing removed lingers in the file.

Watermarking

PDF watermark stamps text or an image across every page, or selected pages, with control over size, angle, opacity, colour and position. Diagonal grey "DRAFT" across the middle is the default because it is what people want most often, but a small logo in a corner is just as easy. The watermark becomes part of the page content.

Handling and privacy

These tools use a PDF library that runs in the browser; files are parsed, modified and re-saved on your device without ever being uploaded. Contracts, statements and medical documents stay with you. Encrypted PDFs need to be unlocked first, and the pages say so. Large documents — several hundred pages, tens of megabytes — are handled, though the browser will take a moment to render thumbnails for all of them.
