Privacy

Every tool on this site runs as JavaScript inside your own browser. What you type into a calculator, a text tool or the QR code generator is never sent to this server, because there is no endpoint for it to be sent to. Closing the tab discards it.

What we store

Nothing about you. There are no accounts, this site sets no cookies of its own, and nothing you type is remembered. The pages are static files served by a small Go binary. The advertising described below is the one exception — Google sets its own cookies, and we do not have access to what they contain.

Ratings

Each tool page has a five-star rating. If you rate a tool, your browser sends the tool's address and a number from one to five to this server, which adds it to a running total and count for that tool. No identifier travels with it, so the server cannot tell who rated what. Your browser keeps a copy of your own vote in local storage so the page can show it to you again. That is all this site writes to local storage, and it never leaves your device.

Server logs

The web server records ordinary request logs — the URL requested, the time, the status code, the user agent and the IP address the request came from. This is what any web server does, and it is used only to keep the site running and to spot abuse. Logs are not linked to any identity and are not sold or shared.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google is a third-party vendor and uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites on the web. Other third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads here and set their own cookies.

If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, the first page you open shows Google's consent dialog asking whether you accept those cookies. Decline and Google serves ads without personalisation or sets none at all, depending on what you choose; every tool works exactly the same either way. Google records your answer in its own cookie so you are not asked again. Change your choice

None of what you type into a tool reaches Google or any advertiser. The ad slot is a separate frame on the page; it does not read the form fields, the results, or the QR codes you generate. What Google does receive is the ordinary information any embedded script receives — the page address, your IP address, your browser and device, and whatever its own cookies already hold.

You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's My Ad Center, and opt out of personalised advertising from participating vendors at aboutads.info/choices. Blocking the ads with a browser extension is fine and breaks nothing — every tool works with the ad slot empty.

Analytics

Tool pages and the home page load a small script from a.regravity.com. This is Umami, an analytics package we run on our own server rather than a service we hand your visit to. It records the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system, device type and screen size, and the country your IP address resolves to. The first time you interact with a tool on a page, it also records a single event naming that tool, so we know which tools are actually used and not just opened. Those counts are what the popular tools page ranks.

It sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage, so it cannot follow you to another site or recognise you on a later visit. Your IP address is used to look up the country and is not stored. Nothing you type into a tool is sent to it — the event says which tool you used, never what you used it for.

Third parties

Fonts are self-hosted, so no request is made to Google Fonts or any other font service. Google AdSense is the only third party the site loads — the analytics above run on our own infrastructure. If that changes, this page will name the provider and describe what it collects before it goes live.
