Everyday Reference Datasets

Ingredient Density, Paper Sizes, Plug Types, Frost Dates and SAT to ACT

Reference tables for the kitchen, the print shop, the suitcase, the garden and the college application: grams per cup, paper and photo dimensions, which plug a country uses, when the last frost usually falls, and how an SAT score lines up against an ACT score. Each table is searchable and downloads as CSV or JSON.

Standards and official tables

Paper sizes follow ISO 216, plug types follow the lettered scheme the IEC and the US trade administration use, and the SAT and ACT concordance is the official joint table published by College Board and ACT. These change rarely, if ever, so the tables stay accurate for years.

Measured and averaged values

Ingredient densities and frost dates are averages rather than fixed standards. Densities vary with how a cup is filled, and frost dates are long-term climate averages with a real chance of frost on either side. Each page explains how the figure was measured or averaged so you know how much weight it will bear.
