How the Delivery Date Calculator works
This delivery date calculator estimates when an order ships and arrives from the order date, the dispatch cut-off, the handling time in working days and the carrier's transit time, so you can quote an estimated delivery date at checkout.
How the delivery date calculator works
The formula is delivery date = order date + handling days + transit days, counting only days that are open. Handling is counted in working days, Monday to Friday. An order after the cut-off starts the next day. Transit is counted over the days the carrier delivers: weekdays, Monday to Saturday or every day. Public holidays are not skipped, so add a day for each one in the period.
First example. An order on Thursday 1 October 2026, before the cut-off, with 1 handling day ships on Friday 2 October. Three weekday transit days run Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so it arrives on Wednesday 7 October, 6 calendar days after the order.
Second example. An order on Friday 2 October after the cut-off is treated as placed on Saturday, so handling starts on Monday and it ships on Tuesday 6 October. With 2 transit days and Saturday delivery it arrives on Thursday 8 October.
How many days does 3-day shipping take? Three transit days after dispatch, not after the order. Ordered on a Wednesday with no handling time, 3-day weekday shipping arrives on Monday, 5 calendar days later, because the weekend does not count.

FAQ
What is a dispatch cut-off time?
It is the latest time in the day an order can be placed and still be handled that day. Orders after the cut-off are treated as next-day orders, which can add a whole weekend for late Friday orders.
What is the difference between handling time and transit time?
Handling time is how long the seller takes to pick, pack and hand the order to the carrier. Transit time is how long the carrier takes to deliver it. The estimated delivery date needs both.
Does the calculator skip public holidays?
No. Holidays differ by country and region, so they are not built in. Add one handling or transit day for each public holiday that falls between the order date and the estimated delivery date.
Why give a delivery window instead of one date?
Carriers miss a stated transit time on a small share of parcels, so a range of two days sets fair expectations. The calculator shows the estimated date and the next delivery day as the window.
Do weekend orders ship on Monday?
With weekday handling, yes. A Saturday or Sunday order is first handled on Monday, so with 1 handling day it ships on Tuesday. Set handling to 0 if you dispatch the same day the order is handled.
