How the Picture in Picture Video Maker works
This picture in picture video maker puts one clip in a small window on top of another and saves the result as a single video. Pick the corner, the window size, a rounded, square or circular shape and a border, then choose whose sound to keep. Both files stay on your device the whole time.
What a picture in picture video maker is for
Picture in picture (PiP) is the layout behind reaction videos, game commentary, tutorials with a presenter in the corner and news segments with a live feed. One video fills the frame and tells the main story; the smaller window adds a face, a second angle or a close-up without cutting away.
Choosing size and position
A width of 25–35% is readable on a phone without hiding too much of the main picture. Put the window in the corner with the least action, and away from the bottom on vertical video, where TikTok and Reels place their captions. A circle suits a face cam; a rounded rectangle suits a screen recording or second camera angle.
Sound and length
"Both" mixes the two soundtracks, which is right for a reaction video. Pick one source when the other is just background noise. The finished video is as long as the main clip. If the small clip is shorter it holds its last frame; if longer, it is cut when the main clip ends.

FAQ
Which video becomes the small window?
The second file you add goes in the small window and the first fills the frame. If they landed the wrong way round, set "Main video" to "Second file" and render again; there is no need to remove and re-add the files.
Can the two videos start at different times?
Both clips start together at the first frame. To delay one of them, trim the start of the other with the video trimmer first, then bring both trimmed files back to this page and render them as a pair.
What size is the finished video?
The output keeps the main video's own width and height, so a 1080p clip gives a 1080p result. The small window is scaled to the width you choose and keeps its own shape unless you pick the circle, which crops it.
