How the Video Collage Maker works
This video collage maker plays two, three or four clips at once inside a single frame. Choose a grid or equal strips, a square, wide or vertical size, the gap between clips and which sound to keep, then download one collage video. Every clip is processed on your own device and nothing is uploaded.
What a video collage maker does
A video collage shows several moments together: highlights from a trip, the same move from four angles, a recipe's steps, or friends' messages for a birthday. Each clip plays in its own frame, all starting together, so the collage feels alive in a way a photo grid cannot.
Layouts for every count
Two videos split the frame in half, side by side on wide sizes and stacked on vertical ones. Three videos in "Grid" give one large frame plus two smaller ones; four make a two-by-two grid. "Equal strips" lines them up in even columns across a wide frame, or rows down a tall one. Clips are cropped to fill their frames, so keep the action near the middle of each.
Gap, size and sound
A white gap gives a clean, bright, scrapbook look; black is calmer and suits film footage. Use 1080 × 1080 for feeds, 1080 × 1920 for Stories and Reels, and 1920 × 1080 for YouTube. Mixing every soundtrack is usually noisy, so only the first video's sound is kept by default.
Length and file type
The collage runs as long as the longest clip, and shorter clips hold on their last frame. Rendering plays the clips once in real time and saves WebM in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, or MP4 in Safari. For still photos use the photo collage maker.
FAQ
Which video goes in which frame?
Videos fill the frames in the order you add them: top-left first, then across and down. In the three-video grid the first video gets the large frame, so add your best clip first when you drop the files onto the page.
Can I use more than four videos?
Four is the limit. Beyond that, each frame becomes too small to follow on a phone screen. For a longer sequence, join the clips one after another with the video merger, or make two collages and merge them together.
Why are the edges of my clips cut off?
Each clip is scaled to fill its frame completely, so a wide clip in a tall frame loses its sides. Pick a frame size closer to your footage's shape, or try Equal strips, which gives each clip a different shape of frame.
