How the Albion Online Name Generator works
An Albion Online name generator for players, guilds and alliances. Albion Online is a sandbox MMO where players craft every item, run the economy and fight guild wars over territory. Generate a player name, a gatherer name, a guild name or a short alliance tag for your group.
How the Albion Online name generator works
Player names are one word with no spaces, built from Old English and Celtic sounds that fit the game's medieval British feel, Kestwyn or Mordathus. Gatherer names are for players who spend their time harvesting ore, hide, fibre, stone and timber, and pair a resource with a cheerful ending, Orehound or Timberfox. Guild names sound like a medieval company or a border clan, the Mist Wardens or the Company of the Red Road. Alliance tags are short and shouty, because they show in capitals above many players at once, IRONX or OATH.
Picking a short name
Short names are easier to read in big fights where dozens of players crowd the screen. Aim for six to nine letters where you can.

FAQ
What are the name rules in Albion Online?
Albion Online character names are a single word made of letters and numbers, with no spaces. Every name is unique on the server, so an invented name built from uncommon syllables is the best way to get something short and free.
What is an alliance tag?
An alliance is a group of guilds that fight together, and its short tag appears above members in the open world. Tags work best in capitals and are only a few characters long, so they need to be bold and readable.
Why generate gatherer names?
Many Albion players spend most of their time gathering resources and crafting rather than fighting. A gatherer name shows that proudly, and it makes a fun name for a second character that only harvests materials for your main.
Can I use these names in other sandbox games?
Yes. The names are original and fit any medieval sandbox or survival MMO with guilds and territory, as well as tabletop campaigns set in a gritty land of border clans, mercenary companies and merchants.
