How the Breathing Style Generator works

A breathing style generator for sword breathing techniques, in the style of the famous demon-hunting manga. Pick a type and generate a breathing style, a numbered form, the colour of the user's blade or the origin of the style. Every style and form here is original, ready for OCs and roleplay.

How the breathing style generator works

Breathing styles are named after something from nature or daily life, Lantern Breathing or Willow Breathing. Numbered forms are the individual sword moves, from the First Form to a secret Final Form, each with a poetic name. The blade colour reflects the user's style and personality. Origins explain how the style began, because many styles branched off older ones. For attacks outside this style, try the anime attack name generator.

    FAQ

How do I make an original breathing style?

Pick an element, animal or object nobody has used, then design moves that fit it. A Silk style could be fast and binding, a Salt style harsh and preserving. Give it five to ten forms with images from the theme.

How many forms should a breathing style have?

Most styles have between five and ten forms, with a secret or final form reserved for a big moment. A newer style made by one person might only have a few forms.

Why are breathing styles named after nature?

The idea is that each style copies the movement of something in nature, like water flowing or flames rising. Naming a style after a natural thing tells you how the swordsman moves.

Can I use these for Demon Slayer roleplay?

Yes. These styles and forms are original, so they work well for OCs in roleplay and fan fiction. They are designed to avoid the canon styles and forms.
