How the Cursed Technique Generator works

A cursed technique generator for sorcerers in the style of the famous curse-fighting manga. Pick a type and generate a technique, what it does, a barrier technique that traps enemies in the user's own space, or a self-imposed rule that trades a cost for power. Every technique is original.

How the cursed technique generator works

Techniques are named after one eerie object, Weeping Bell or Red Thread, and the ability grows from that object. Barriers are sealed spaces the user builds around an enemy, with rules that favour the user. Self-imposed rules trade a restriction for extra strength, the more painful the rule, the stronger the technique. For more dark powers, try the anime power generator.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a manga by Gege Akutami, published by Shueisha. This site is not affiliated with Gege Akutami, Shueisha or any Jujutsu Kaisen licensee. All techniques here are original, and barrier and rule systems are described by type rather than by their canon names.

    FAQ

What makes a good cursed technique?

A good technique grows from one clear idea, like a bell or a thread, and has rules that the user has to work around. The more specific the rule, the more interesting the fights become.

    What is a barrier technique?

A barrier technique traps an enemy inside a space the user creates, where the rules favour the user. It is usually a final move, and two users building barriers at once creates a big showdown.

Why would a sorcerer take on a self-imposed rule?

A self-imposed rule trades a restriction or risk for more power. Revealing how a technique works to an enemy is a common example, since it gives away an advantage in exchange for strength.

Can I use these for Jujutsu Kaisen OCs?

Yes. The techniques, barriers and rules are original and free to use for OCs in fan fiction, roleplay and games without copying canon abilities. Mix a technique with a rule to give your sorcerer a clear cost.
