How the Pathfinder Deity Name Generator works
A Pathfinder deity name generator for gods, demigods and forgotten powers. A Pathfinder-style world has a crowded pantheon, from the great gods of sun, war and death down to demigods with tiny cults and gods whose names were erased from history.
How the Pathfinder deity name generator works
Each deity gets an invented name built from strong syllables, then a title that names their domain or an epithet that sums up their nature. The God mode gives major deities like Sarira, Goddess of the Rising Sun, or Morask the Pale Judge. The Demigod mode gives lesser powers with odd, specific titles, Lord of Bats or Mistress of Moths. The Forgotten god mode gives ancient, eerie names for powers that have been lost, buried or unmade.
Building a pantheon
Generate a dozen names, then give each a domain your campaign needs, war, trade, death, magic, nature, the sea, and decide which ones are allies or rivals. Two gods with opposed domains make an instant religious conflict.

FAQ
Are these the official Pathfinder gods?
No. Every deity name is original, built from invented syllables and titles. They are designed to sit comfortably alongside a Pathfinder-style pantheon without copying any published god.
What makes a good god name?
Something short and memorable with a clear title. Players will say the name often, so two or three syllables work best, and the title tells everyone what the god cares about.
What is a demigod?
A demigod is a lesser divine power with a small following, often a very specific domain. The Demigod mode gives them unusual titles like Lord of Bats, which make great hooks for strange cults.
Can I use these in other fantasy worlds?
Yes. The names are original and fit any fantasy pantheon, whether you use them in Pathfinder, D&D, a homebrew world or a novel, and they work for cult patrons and ancient powers too.
