How the Starfinder name generator works

Humans get globally mixed first names and surnames, reflecting a far-future people from everywhere. Androids get a chosen single name, a serial number or a surname they picked for themselves. Kasatha, four-armed desert wanderers, get two-part names. Lashunta, the telepathic twin-species, get elegant, flowing names. Shirren, insect people who left a hive mind, get clicking names and sometimes their old hive. Vesk, the reptilian warrior people, get harsh names and military epithets. Ysoki, the small rat-folk tinkerers, get quick names and a nickname earned in the engine room.
